How to evaluate debt recovery software
Twelve questions that separate dependable systems from demos.

Money and data integrity
- Are balances computed from an append-only ledger? Can a database administrator's mistake rewrite history?
- How are duplicate payments and replayed webhooks prevented?
- How are differences with your core system reconciled — overwritten or queued for review?
Control
- Which actions need a second person, and is that enforced by the software?
- Can automation or AI change balances or approve anything?
- Is there an exportable, tamper-evident audit trail?
Security and tenancy
- How is tenant isolation enforced and tested?
- Is MFA mandatory for privileged roles? Are sensitive actions re-authenticated?
- What is encrypted, and who controls the keys?
Fit
- Does it support consent, send windows, disputes, complaints and data-subject requests?
- Is there an API and signed webhooks, and a sandbox?
- Are limits, untested areas and open risks published honestly?
DRMS publishes its test results, release audit and known limits so you can check these answers yourself.
